Festival Dates:
Friday, February 21st –for those with an absolute conflict
Saturday, February 22nd—piano
Saturday, February 29th—voice, instruments other than piano
Cost per event is $25 per registered event.

Postmark Deadline for National Music Week Essay Contest
DETAILS:
Contest is open to 7-12th grade students
Essay must be typed and no longer than 500 words
Essay is judged on content, neatness and legibility
2019 Theme: Music - A Magic Carpet
Membership in NFMC is NOT required to enter
Entry form with deadline postmark date is January 10
AWARDS:
An award of $50 will be presented in each state in which a winner is declared
An Award of Merit Certificate will be presented to each winner and teacher.

The National Federation of Music Club Festivals program is designed to stimulate interest in American and world music and encourage participants to reach high standards of musica achievement. It is not a competition but an opportunity to perform and receive evaluations.
Friday, February 22 is available for students with extenuating circumstances that cannot make the regular Festival date.
Saturday, February 23 is for Piano students
Saturday, March 2 is for Vocal & Instrumental students
